Overview
Machines used on dairy farms and in factories for separating and removing cream from whole milk, consisting of a centrifuge in the form of a rapidly revolving bowl containing a set of disks and mounted on a spindle. Milk enters the bowl at the top, and as the bowl revolves, the heavier skim milk is thrown to the outer sides and led off through openings while the cream concentrates in the interior and is led off through a cream outlet at the center.
